Safer Spaces Initiative

Our Safer Spaces Initiative was a five-year program created to help equip educators with the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to create safer and more inclusive classrooms and schools for our youth. Every year from 2020-2025, we organized free, interactive, virtual workshops tailored to the current needs of educators and school administrators. Topics varied from anti-racism to culturally responsive teaching, to safer spaces policy creation.

While the Safer Spaces Initiative has now concluded, our commitment to working with educators and schools continues.

We invite teachers and school administrators to get in touch and collaborate with us on creating safer, more equitable schools. Please email info@powerofdiscourse.com to explore training, facilitation, or tailored support for your school community.
