Power of Discourse Consulting is a Black and women-led consulting firm based in Canada that partners with organizations seeking to advance equity in meaningful and practical ways.

Our work focuses on equity-driven organizational development, strategic planning, and supporting teams in aligning their values with their day-to-day structures and practices.

We collaborate with institutions, nonprofits, and community organizations to facilitate meaningful dialogue, examine organizational systems, and develop strategies that translate values into action.

Co-Founder & Lead Consultant

Donneil McNab is an education leader and equity strategist whose work focuses on expanding access and opportunity for racialized students and communities. She collaborates with institutions and community partners to address systemic barriers and develop initiatives that support belonging, mentorship, and student success.

Her work often centers on creating spaces for meaningful dialogue across diverse groups and supporting organizations in developing programs and strategies that strengthen equity in practice.

Ruth Nakalyowa works with nonprofit organizations, educators, and community leaders to advance equity and inclusion through dialogue and organizational learning. She facilitates conversations that help teams navigate complex issues related to equity, leadership, and workplace culture.

Ruth has supported organizations across Canada and internationally in strengthening inclusive practices and is particularly interested in approaches that integrate equity and decolonization into everyday organizational work.

Venecia Williams is a post-secondary educator whose work focuses on teaching, learning, and intercultural dialogue. She supports students and organizations in developing the knowledge and skills needed to engage thoughtfully across difference.

She designs and facilitates learning experiences that encourage critical reflection and open conversation, and brings particular expertise in Universal Design for Learning and inclusive teaching practices.

Consultant & French Translator

Lala Barka Mint Zahabi is a seasoned CSR professional with a degree in International Social and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Sciences. With several years of experience in CSR, including EDI and international development, she has worked with renowned development organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and West Africa.
